Set
Description
The *CLS command clears the Standard Event
Status, Operation Status and Questionable Status
registers. The corresponding Enable registers in
each of the above registers are not cleared.
If a <NL> newline code immediately precedes a
*CLS command, the Error Que and the MAV bit in
the Status Byte Register is also cleared.

Query
Description
Queries the manufacturer, model number, serial
number, and firmware version of the instrument.
Query Syntax
*IDN?
Return parameter
<string>
Returns the instrument identification as a
string in the following format:
GWINSTEK,GSP-930, XXXXXXXXXXXX,V.X.X.X.X
Manufacturer: GWINSTEK
Model number : GSP-930
Serial number : XXXXXXXXXXXX
Firmware version : V.X.X.X.X
